About Us
Hi I'm Charleen, owner and founder of Iwe Nesu.
"Iwe Nesu” means “You and Us” — and that’s exactly what this is about. A space where handcrafted homeware and accessories celebrate heritage, connection, and beauty in a way that feels part of your everyday life.
Iwe Nesu was born from a difficult chapter, but it grew into something unexpectedly beautiful. Along the way, I rediscovered the joy, colour, and comfort found in African fabrics and I wanted to share that happiness with others. What started as a personal journey of healing became a way to reconnect with culture, creativity, and community. Each piece is a small expression of that journey full of warmth, meaning, and story.
Every item you see is handmade by me, with care, intention, and attention to detail, keeping the craft personal and meaningful from start to finish.
Iwe Nesu is about bringing that joy into day-to-day moments. Whether it’s a scrunchie, a cushion, or a headband, these pieces are designed to make African fabric feel easy, wearable, and at home in your everyday routine.
